A small company with a team of just five, founded by the designer René Chavanne, JUSTINCASE manufactures portable promotional furniture. It has designed a state-of-the-art portable bar system for professional use. Portability is utilised to create efficiency for the Customers, through reduced costs and speed of set-up and dismantling. The system can be customized to the client’s corporate Design, as well as to meet particular needs. Using Design is seen as an important factor for their sustainable business development. They use Design as both a tool to link different functions and a Process of analyzing needs and developing specific answers to realize improvements and innovations. The Management of Design is strategic to the company: part of their business plan. Achieving a Turnover of half a million euros in the first year and an export rate of 50% in the second, their strategy has been highly successful.

The Company
JUSTINCASE was founded by designer René Chavanne in 2006. From 1995 -1999 he was working for the renowned product designer Ron Arad in London and was a co-founder of the London based design studio “jump”. Since 1999 he is running his own design studio in Vienna.

With this background, René Chavanne seized the benefits of using design as an important factor for a sustainable business development when founding the company.
